George Holmes Braddock, II, CLTC
George carries on the Braddock family tradition of providing insurance solutions since the agency was founded by his father in 1955.
Since 2000 George has helped hundreds of families protect their life savings from the longevity risk. His portfolio consists of Traditional, stand-alone plans for Lowest Cost as well as Hybrid/Combo plans that come with Permanent Rates and Cashback if care is never needed. Also available are Short-Term Care and Critical Illness Insurance.
As a continuing education instructor for the Florida Institute of CPAs, George assists accountants in fulfilling their fiduciary responsibility to protect client wealth. Besides CPAs, he works with financial advisors of all sorts including insurance agents, attorneys, trust officers, wealth managers, and others who trust him to provide peace of mind to their valued clients. He especially enjoys teaming up with these professionals to provide long-term care insurance at the Worksite.
George is a long-time member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance, and the National Association of Health Underwriters. He has met with legislators in Washington and Tallahassee on their behalf.
On a personal note, George is a graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in Communications. In his first career, George was a radio broadcaster in Miami and Wash., D.C. His passion for public radio has led to his service on the Community Advisory Board of WLRN. George is a Miami native whose ancestors were Florida pioneers arriving in 1797 when Florida was under Spanish rule. Miami’s G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School is named in honor of his father, who was a national leader in education and long-time chairman of the Miami-Dade County School Board. His mother, Ruth Braddock, was a teacher and the founder of Herstory of Florida, Inc., an organization which has published three books on the contributions of women in Miami-Dade County’s history.
